Refresher Training Days and Private Tutoring

Janet is personally available for private teaching sessions at her own Clinic or at your place of work, salon or clinic.  She is a qualified Lecturer and Assessor (Cert. Ed.) with over 25 years teaching experience and has taught both locally and nationally at State and Private Colleges. 
Full, half day or hourly training sessions can be offered and are individually tailored to your requirements.  Reasons for needing this service may include:

• Being out of the industry for some time and are returning to work and need to refresh your skills.
• You are qualified but are not completely confident with some aspects of the work.
• Retaking qualifications and need to be brought up to assessable standards?
• Not grasping the theory and would benefit from a personal tutor for a few hours without the pressure of a busy classroom situation?
• Need help with portfolio building or preparation for interviews.
• You are an employer with new or existing staff who may need their skills updating.

Acquiring the highest skills and abilities in the industry from personal investment will benefit the economic effectiveness of your business, boost client loyalty and improve professional standards.

Offer 'Advanced Cosmetic Procedure' Services

• Would you like to extend your salon services to include ‘Advanced Cosmetic Procedures’, but do not want additional outlay for training, specialist equipment or insurance costs?  Then the Diathermy Skin Clinic can come along to you and provide occasional or regular clinics to your customers!
• If you are a mobile therapist you can also offer ‘advanced cosmetic procedures’ by becoming a ‘Referral Practitioner’ (see below).

If you are either a beauty/holistic therapist, nail technician or hairdresser that either works from home, mobile and cannot provide registered premises to work from, then you can still offer your clients ‘advanced cosmetic procedures’.
